I have been putting my flower beds to rest for the winter! Each year, I remove all the old tired plants, pulling them up by the roots: the zinnias, cosmos, marigolds. As I remove the plants, I save the seeds to be planted again next spring. Do you know how many seeds one flower has to offer? Billions, well at least alot! If I try to save them all and find a home for them, I will become overwhelmed with worry, grief and loss. I can not save them, I can not find the right place for them. I must let them go!
As I keep some to grow next year, I release the other seeds to where ever the wind takes them and find joy in letting go.
Today, I will honor my heart, by letting go of that which is overwhelming me and living in the joy of release.
