Do you ever have one of those days when you just know that you will be scrambling to “catch up”, “keep going”, or just “remember”? I have been having a few of those days lately. My mind is scattered in the office, the home and the community. I am not feeling overwhelmed or stressed.
I am just “out of sorts”! as my mom would say.
To me these are signs of trouble! When I do not make time to find calm, connection or reflection, my body’s immune system will begin to struggle. My daily metabolism will begin to be sluggish.
When I begin my day with calm, I find my day is filled with completing tasks.
When I give time in my day to center and connect, I find my day enjoyable with time to spare for my needs.
When I take a moment to reflect over my day at night, I find the rest I need to be eager for the next day.
Taking time throughout the day to be still in body, mind and spirit, to renew, rejuvenate and refresh, will give you peace, harmony and joy into each day.
If you are looking for this time and practice in your daily life, I invite you to come learn with me as we grow in “A Quiet Moment”, classes on breathing and guided imagery.
Classes will be held in the month of November on Mondays from 6-7pm, or Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 am or Wednesdays at noon. Space is limited so contact me today to reserve your spot!
Living well, one moment at a time!
